Documentary Wedding Photographer

Based in Washington, D.C. and Whidbey Island, WA

Serving the coasts and everything in between.

The Approach

With photography, I take a documentary approach. Shooting film on a wedding day causes me to slow down, and truly live as a part of your memories. I’ve had a artists outlook on life for as long as I can remember. The way I view wedding photography is both as an authentic documentarian, but also as an artist charged with capturing your memories with authenticity, joy, and seasoned professionalism while ensuring that you have the absolute best time of your life.

I love what I do, and I often get the privilege of watching my clients grow in their love. I treat your memories as I would my own - because they are. So let’s grab coffee or a cocktail and talk about art. Although I spend most of my time capturing weddings on the East Coast, I spend as much time as I can visiting family on Whidbey Island, Washington - a small island off the coast of Seattle (if you know, you know). So my West Coast wedding people - please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask me about your Captain Whidbey Inn wedding. We’ll make it happen.

Documenting with elegance and intentionality.
